Our vision is to enable customers from anywhere in the world to purchase any product that we offer globally, through a localized and personalized experience at a competitive price and superior delivery experience.

We are looking for an innovative and highly motivated UX Researcher to help us define the shopping experience for millions of customers across the globe. This role will be the single threaded leader, building the research function from ground up and supporting some of the most strategic initiatives and product roadmaps across international expansion and cross-border shopping experiences. You will own the end-to-end research roadmap and work closely with Design, Product, Engineering, and Business Executives to bring the best shopping experiences to customers worldwide. The teams will look to your expertise to help them uncover insights using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of user research methods and best practices, but also has a nimble, creative, and pragmatic approach, while being interested in pushing the boundaries of agile research. You must be a self-motivated leader with an ability to communicate your idea clearly, have a proven track-record of bringing clarity to a complex and ambiguous space, and be both a strategic and tactical thinker and doer.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute research roadmaps that align to and inform user experience goals and product visions
  • Own end-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, research method, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
  • Synthesize large data types and perform quick and thorough analyses to create insightful and actionable findings
  • Provide thought leadership to partners and decision makers at all levels of the organization, effectively communicating durable insights through writing and presentations
  • Guide design, product and tech teams to build features aligned with research findings
  • Build repeatable research practices and create centralized research resources
  • Collaborate with other researchers across the company to raise the bar for research and align on best

    Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experiences in leading UX research projects demonstrating application of the full range of research methods (qualitative and quantitative) and activities (study design, test creation, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, etc.)
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets and expert knowledge of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics
  • Direct experience with research on a variety of devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
  • BA/BS degree in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Past user research experience in cross-cultural context
  • Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills, e.g., designing, conducting, and analyzing all kinds of user data, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Portfolio showing track record of managing and executing large research projects from start to finish
  • Experience with managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders with varying UX Design/Research experience levels
