Tenancy Sustainment Officer Bedford and surrounding areas (Home based with travel) Full Time (37 hours per week) Permanent Salary £32,800 to £34,800 plus mileage £2,000 car allowance bpha is a forward-thinking housing association, on a mission to build thriving communities where people can live happily in a home they can afford. Due to expansion of our team, we re seeking for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to manage housing services proactively and provide a service that lives up to our values and has the customer at the heart of our service. TSOs are expected to provide a consistent empathetic service which takes into consideration the specific needs of the customer and supports them directly or via referrals, and signposting, to maintain their tenancy. What you will be doing: Supporting tenants with their housing options so they can make informed choices about their tenancy. Managing safeguarding cases focusing on long term solutions Supporting with the resolving of tenancy to ensure the longevity and sustainability of tenancies or shared ownership lease agreements by working closely with the Tenancy Sustainment Service, local partner agencies and communities. To work collaboratively to ensure a smooth transition when starting and ending a tenancy to minimise void loss during the lettings process. Collecting rent and service charge income with care, focusing on a holistic approach to income collection by working closely with Money Advice, Service Charge team, housing options, Finance and local authorities.
