Position Summary:

Design, develop automation software to verify and validate SW products. Identify weak points and design creative ways to break software and uncover potential problems.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Develop test cases and automation framework as a member of agile development team
  • Build well-structured automation scripts that are easily maintained.
  • Create proper documentation of the scripts for execution, maintainability and supportability
  • Communicate status of progress to stakeholders and team
  • Leverage test automation tools to build and automate regression, smoke, system, and new feature testing
  • Track code coverage metrics across applications
  • Suggest tooling and workflows to QA management and team to continually improve our Quality Assurance process
  • Be an integrated part of an Agile engineering team, working interactively with software engineers from the beginning to end of the development cycle
  • Implement test methodology best practices, writing test plans
  • Develop utilities to increase release velocity and automate repeated tasks

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep knowledge and experiencing API testing tools (Postman)
  • Coding experience in Ruby (Selenium/Capybara), C# (Selenium, Ranorex)
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience
  • Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
  • Experiencing developing test plans for different levels of test (unit, integration, performance, ui, etc) across a platform and how to best apply the different types of tests
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong background in creating and maintaining software documentation under version control.
  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment as an individual contributor.
