  • The GDIT Web and Applications Development team currently seeks a creative and driven IT professional with a passion for providing expert solutions to fill a full-time/flex SharePoint Developer role (30 hrs/week). This position will help with the management of the SharePoint project pipeline and will be tasked with addressing a variety of SharePoint development and administration needs, on a cross-functional, fast-paced team, in service to the Environmental Protection Agency. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for all aspects of systems management to include needs analysis, implementation, troubleshooting, and the development of specialized and dynamic sites.This role will provide SharePoint development services to a variety of projects with varying customer requirements and is, at times, client-facing.
  • Development and maintenance of SharePoint sites and applications related to customized SharePoint applications associated with intake/search requests.
  • Work with EPA developers, customers, and users to address SharePoint requests.
  • Perform any hands-on development of any new requests to scope out the project(s) and provide a level of effort to project manager(s).
  • Provide expert level guidance to customer during all phases of projects related to SharePoint development and maintenance.
  • Provide weekly status reports to division leadership.
Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 8+ years of experience with Information Technology
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development and architecture with SharePoint 2013, 2016 and Office 365
  • Expertise in SharePoint Online development, including PowerAutomate/Flow, Forms, and PowerApps and supporting SharePoint migrations to Microsoft Office 365
  • Expertise in business process analysis, user requirements development and documentation, system development life cycle (SDLC) programming, and systems analysis
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in hands-on development of SharePoint on-premise 2013 and 2016, building complex, out of the box SharePoint Solutions using development tools, including InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS, .NET, HTML, and JQuery
  • Expertise in using the SharePoint client object model (CSOM) to query lists, manipulate list items, create on-demand reports and mashups of data, and deliver easy to comprehend content
  • Experience with C#/.NET SharePoint development
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server, DNS, Active Directory, and Load Balancing.
  • High competency in client-side coding, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience implementing JavaScript APIs
  • Experience with SSOM, JSOM, CSOM, REST API, SPServices, Master Pages, Layouts, Visual Web Part, PowerShell, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Expertise with SharePoint content types, publishing features, and templates
  • Ability to interact positively with customers to provide guidance and support.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with performing hands-on development in JS frameworks, including node.js, React.js, and Angular.js
  • Knowledge of SQL and SQL reporting services
  • Microsoft SharePoint Certifications
Technology Stack Requirements:
  • Experience with SSOM, JSOM, CSOM, REST API, SPServices, Master Pages, Layouts, Visual Web Part, PowerShell, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
