The Senior Manager, Business Systems for Atlassian Suite will have holistic ownership of Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence and Trello), overall system health, ownership, contracts, licensing, growth, support, demand, strategy, and roadmap.

In this role, you will set the strategic direction and lead the development of technology solutions using Atlassian. You will partner with groups across Indeed to optimize how Atlassian tools are configured, administered, designed, and reported on in order to support the diverse needs of Indeedians. You will collaborate with leaders and process owners across a wide breadth of GMs and functional domains on Jira, Atlassian, and Trello usage and configuration changes. You will support redesign and migration efforts to remove barriers, improve visibility and workflow across Indeed.

You will have a delivery focus ensuring value is delivered predictably, with high quality, and meeting the needs of users. You will ensure operational and administrative support processes are effective with an eye towards continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring observability towards meeting KPIs, mentoring teams on creating projects and reporting within the systems, and visibility into system usage. You will partner with other groups to define and support integrations between Indeed systems and plug-ins.

Responsibilities:
Organize and manage the work of a cross-functional business technology solution delivery team, managing tasks, workload, and timelines for the full lifecycle from requirements definition, solution implementation, verification, system documentation and communication/training
Ensure the quality of your team's work, especially solution design and implementation of functional and non-functional requirements and compliance with IT, Data, Privacy, Security, Governance practices, and other regulatory requirements
Support growth and mentorship for your team's technical and non-technical skills
Collaborate with leaders and process owners across a wide breadth of GM and functional domains to establish a shared roadmap, communicated across Indeed, and align solution design and delivery to the overall vision and architectural direction
Understand stakeholder needs and values to drive Atlassian tool usage, configuration changes, and occasionally mediate between conflicting efforts
Plan and manage the work of the team using standard Agile methodologies, SDLC tools, reports and dashboards
Partner closely with the Technical Content Managers (TCMs) on Confluence administration and QA refreshes
Publish and maintain wikis that document policies, best practices, guidelines, and other related information for end users
Lead large architectural change efforts with partner teams and stakeholders such as redesign workspaces, system upgrades/integrations, AWS migrations, new plugin/feature launches, etc.
Set the foundation for being a trusted advisor by acting as a dependable collaborator, building trust and modeling positive behaviors with client teams and other individuals on Agile teams
Influence change across programs and functional areas by working across all levels of the organization to define and execute strategies for successful Atlassian Product implementation; get hands-on in enabling the incremental delivery of value
Lead and facilitate workshops/training sessions to educate leaders, teams, and administrators on Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Trello)

Who You Are

3+ years experience as a product manager, solution delivery lead, or related experience in the delivery business technology solutions
1+ years experience as a lead or manager for business technology solutions
Demonstrated familiarity with the Atlassian tools, platforms, technologies, use of and administration in a large complex enterprise organization, Atlassian Certifications a plus
Ability to plan and manage the work of a technology delivery team using standard Agile methodologies, SDLC tools, reports and dashboards
Strong communication and collaboration skills with broad stakeholder groups and within business unit
Ability to coach on career skills across functions, and to create growth opportunities for all functions in your team
Demonstrated ability to drive large and complex technology and organizational projects and work through ambiguity
Experience with popular Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Lean, Kanban, Extreme Programming), Agile coaching experience is a plus
Ability to coordinate resources and handle internal conflicts/politics
Experience leading Jira redesign or migration to Atlassian Cloud a plus
