Job Title: Quality Assurance Advisor (Education)Location: North West and MidlandsSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experienceHours: 40 hours per weekWorking for an organisation who provide education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities, we are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Advisor to ensure that the quality and assurance systems, policies and processes in their schools and colleges are embedded and effective. The role:There is an expectation that all sites will be rated Outstanding or Good. Reporting to our Quality Assurance Director; your role will be to review the sites against Ofsted criteria and Independent School standards to enable them to maintain and develop high quality provision.
Focusing on our schools in the North-West/Midlands; your reviews will be thorough, appropriate and fair and you'll ensure the findings in your reports are effectively followed up with corrective and/or preventative measures.
You will work collaboratively with site leadership teams to ensure a 'ready for inspection' ethos, including delivering training and ensuring robust assurance evidence is available on every site.
Experience /Qualifications:Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate: • Experience of performing in senior leadership roles in Mainstream or SEN education environments (Headteacher / Assistant Head / Deputy Head)• Good level of understanding of Ofsted expectations and/or Independent School standards• Demonstrable experience of driving quality improvements• Superb communication / influencing / stakeholder management skills• The ability to coach and train senior managers• Willingness to undertake a national role: (c.2-3 nights away per week during busy periods) Benefits: • Training and continued support• Life assurance and pension• Health cash back plan• Car lease scheme• Bike to work scheme • Perk box• Free parking
