Project Manager Swindon £45,000 - £55,000 DOE + hybrid working available + on-site parking + Benefits Monday - Friday DAYS Project Manager Required for a leading global design and manufacturing company who have five decades of experience within their niche field. This role is varied, you will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarise the progress of the project, prepare reports regarding the status of a project and manage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders. The responsibilities of this role include, working on complex projects managing the coordination and completion on time within budget and within scope. You will meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans and managing all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints. You will be required to meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis, track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term goals. This role will suit an experienced project manager, you must have experience working with semiconductors and ASIC technology. You will have a good understand of micro-electronic design and engineering, and automotive quality standards. You will have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to enable you to work effectively with all levels of the organisation including suppliers and/or external customers. You must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands. The role: Monitor and control project progress, pro-actively identifying and addressing issues and risks Track and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs Own and implement the project management plans, risk management plan, product quality plan, communication plan Forecast, source, and track resource requirements from functional managers from project creation through to safe launch and release for volume production Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives inside the local organisation Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and brings solutions/opportunities The person: Experience working with ASIC technology and knowledge of automotive quality standards Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organisation including suppliers and/or external customers Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple tasks and demands Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
