Project Coordinator / Project Administrator / Junior Project Manager Infrastructure / Professional Services / MSP / Managed Services / Cloud Solutions Are you a customer-centric and analytically minded individual? The Role The Project Coordinator is accountable for the day-to-day administration and coordination of small projects within the Delivery team. In doing this, the Project Coordinator will have customer satisfaction at the heart of what they do and will play an active role within the Project team and Services Division. You'll need high administration skills, liaising with numerous internal business function stakeholders or numerous/critical external third parties. Delivering multiple pieces of work of equal importance in parallel to respective plans, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment whilst remaining in control. You will work effectively within a wider team of Project Managers and Technical consultants as well as management levels. As a Project Coordinator your role will include: Ensure effective administration of small projects. Secure and schedule appropriate resources for the small client/project delivery. Manage small projects to time, quality and cost. Accountable for financial control of small projects delivered. Ensuring consultant time spent is correctly entered and approved, and external expenditure is tracked and managed appropriately through the Procurement process Report RAG status in line with the criteria set out. Transition the solution / products / deliverables into Operational support through an assured and auditable process. To close the project formally. Manage the Project / Build ticketing queue for client issues or queries raised against project work, working with the relevant PM or TDA to progress the ticket in line with the operational SLA. Raise DC requests through the vendor portal for project work - including physical access, delivery or 3rd party or "smart hand" instruction - on behalf of the project delivery team. Provide day-to-day administration of prioritised opportunities and follow-up actions (pre-project) in support of sales activity. Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and commercial, delivery and operational functions. Work effectively with demanding customers, understanding and supporting their business goals whilst maintaining the business's strategic and commercial position. Administers and helps drive improvement actions in line with continuous improvement requirements, across delivery functions and processes. Skills and Experience: Professional qualification (degree, equivalent or industry experience). Proven Administration / coordination skills within an IT or delivery environment. Project Management experience or exposure - PRINCE2 foundation or equivalent certification desirable. Working knowledge of ITIL is an advantage. A working knowledge of infrastructure services and products, particularly related to Public/Private Cloud and IBM, is desirable Good facilitation skills - enable external project meetings. The ability to manage conflict and manage customer expectation. Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge from outside own area of expertise. Resource management or demand management experience.
