This is an opportunity to join a friendly team and be part of the team supporting and maintaining the biggest private 11kv network in the UK based at Nanpean that consists of 80 substations and over 40miles of overhead lines and cables. The role is varied and includes planned and routine maintenance on Hv and Lv Systems, as well as responding to breakdowns. You will also be installing cabling, overhead lines and switchgear and you will be required to work at heights of up to 13 metres. There will also be the opportunity to further enhance and expand your skills as the department also manages the Imerys fiber optic and camera networks. What s in it for you? You will be provided with full PPE, specialist and first aid training is provided. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 7.30am 3.30pm. You may be required to cover breakdowns one in every four weekends. In return we ask for You to hold an electrical qualification and ideally have experience working as an industrial electrician. However, we do welcome applications from candidates who have experience working in the domestic field and who are open to working in a new environment You to hold a full driving licence You to have excellent communication skills and be able to work alone as well as part of a team You to be able to work both indoors and outdoors You to be happy working at heights of up to 13 metres and previous experience of working at height is desirable but not essential
