The Nurse Manager of Cardiac Telemetry Unit will work in a not-for-profit medical center that has served communities in the Monterey Bay Area for more than 50 years. The Nurse Manager of Coronary Critical Unit and Telemetry will join a team that strives to provide superlative care by focusing on patients' needs by incorporating the latest, proven medical technology and attracting the best medical staff and affiliated physicians.

The Clinical Manager of Telemetry and Heart Center will be responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the coronary critical care and progressive care unit. The Nursing Manager of CVICU and Telemetry will manage the clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements. 

Reporting to the Senior Nursing Director of Critical Care and Emergency Department, the Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry must have at least 5 years of critical care management experience and have experience working with open heart and balloon pump patients in order to be credible with the staff. The Heart Center and Telemetry Nurse Manager will have 24 hour responsibility for a 16 bed department. The Telemetry and Heart Center cares for both medical and surgical patients including the open hearts patients.

The Cardiovascular and Telemetry Clinical Nurse Manager will be the Nursing Leader of the Intensive Care Unit and Telemetry and has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance.  For more than half a century, the hospital has a reputation for high-caliber physicians, innovative services and a powerful commitment to meeting the needs of the community.
