Join Macquarie s Asset Management division as a Manager supporting the Head of Strategy and Product Development and the Chief Operating Officer for our Americas Private Market businesses.
In this role you will:
lead and manage key projects across the region and the business in support of initiatives identified by the regional head of our Private Markets businesses
conduct and maintain analysis of competitors, markets, industries, important transactions, opportunities, and trends
provide support for leadership forums in terms of setting agendas, identifying presenters, reviewing materials, and identifying and tracking follow-ups
analyse operational and financial data in order to provide qualitative and quantitative backing to support strategic development efforts
have oversight of the Macquarie Asset Management Americas Private Markets P&L and budget process, with a focus on managing costs and supporting regional cost reduction initiatives
partner with IT, Business Services, the Office Manager, and other support groups in the roll-out of technology platforms and other office-related changes or expansions,
assist with communications across the region, and
work closely with HR on people-related initiatives including training and the summer internship program.
Additionally, you will help drive the ownership carry plan and staff-feeder process, contribute to the staff profit attribution model for the employee annual review process and create, collate, or oversee the development of regional PowerPoint presentations, such as staff updates, Town Halls/board packs by working with the Communications and Design teams. You will also be responsible for stakeholder management for external vendors, work on special projects and drive operating model changes to bring consistency and efficiency to Macquarie Asset Management Americas Private Markets processes.
You will be a creative and flexible thinker, confident written and verbal communicator, highly motivated, proactive, organized, and resilient. You will demonstrate sound business judgement, financial analytical skills and possess strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. You will occasionally work with sensitive information and must maintain confidentiality. The team operates on a hybrid working schedule with a requirement for some in person attendance in the New York office to successfully deliver aspects of this role while also having flexibility to spend some time working from home.
To be considered for this role you will have:
4-7 years of relevant experience, including but not limited to finance, operations, or business strategy
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field
