The IT Technical Analyst provides technical support to the DTE Executives & Executive Assistants and will have to be focused on providing the highest level of executive response, professional presence, technical support, problem-solving, and personal attention to meet the demanding schedule of the executives, while maintaining confidentiality. IT Technical Analyst for Executive Support will assist in configuring and managing corporate or personal devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile, video and teleconferencing devices. Must have expertise in trouble shooting and resolving issues with IOS (Apple Devices), Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint) etc. The role will need experience in coaching technology related topics to executives and executive assistants. The role will act as a liasion with other IT groups (Infrastructure, Networking etc.) for support and coaching purpose. The role will provide well-articulated, business-oriented responses to Executive queries regarding IT within their areas of expertise and solicit answers from others as necessary. IT Technical Analyst for Executive Support will take ownership of all hardware and software issues identified and effectively communicate status on a regular basis. This is a 24/7 rotational support role with onsite/offsite/virtual/hybrid model and will require executive home visit to be made as needed. Possess excellent written & verbal communication skills. Must be able to apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsKey AccountabilitiesUnder general supervision, drafts documents, maintains project features, requirements, use cases, change requests, review results, as well as project artifacts in accordance with organizational standards and processes.May participate in efforts in the identification of high potential technologies and coordinating the implementation into the standard applications practices of DTE; may participate in the development of plans, schedules, and projects to ensure on time and on budget implementation of best-in-class solutions while meeting corporate goals.May work closely with outside vendors to evaluate vendors solutions for applicability to DTE's business needs.Remains current with technologies and provides research and/or evaluation of specific products as required by management relevant to area of responsibility, i.e. Server Engineering, Network Engineering, Database Administration, Security, etc.Actively participates in working sessions used to elicit features and gather requirements. Gathers information, analyzes, designs, makes recommendations, and participates in solution implementation in area of responsibility.May be responsible for the set up and repair of infrastructure and resolution of desktop incidents.Acts as a liaison among stakeholders, project team, and leadership in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization; works in conjunction with team members and our architectural direction to recommend pathways that enable the organization to achieve its goals.May have responsibilities for trouble ticket/problem resolution.Provides planning and time estimates on assignments.Performs both independent and collaborative analysis activities.Works on projects of moderate to high complexity that may involve one or more business partners, interfaces or systems.Minimum Education & Experience RequirementsEducation and experience requirements can be satisfied through one of the following options:High School Diploma and knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through at least 5 years of Information Technology related experienceAssociate degree or industry-recognized certificate (i.e the completion of a core group of courses designated by the institution) in an information technology related discipline (other non-Information Technology degrees will be considered) and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through at least 3 years of Information Technology related experienceBachelor's degree in an information technology-related discipline (other non-Information Technology degrees will be considered) and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through 1 year of Information Technology related experience.Other QualificationsPreferredDegree in an Information Technology related disciplineOther RequirementsMust be able to coordinate and resolve multiple support issues simultaneously.Must remain flexible and organized and possess the ability to remain calm in an active, fast paced and changing environmentExperience in configuring and managing corporate or personal devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile, video and teleconferencing devicesExperience in trouble shooting and resolving issues with IOS (Apple Devices), Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.).Experience in coaching and documenting training materialAnalytical, technical, organizational, and problem solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from among a broad range of alternatives and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.Ability to work in a team, project, and/or matrix structure, supporting multiple clients.Broad understanding of analysis and IT industry, e.g emerging technologies, industry standards, support services, architectures systems design, and systems integration and solid knowledge of analysis and accepted IT processes and methodologies.Additional InformationIncumbents may engage in all or some combination of the activities and accountabilities, and utilize a variety of the competencies cited in this description depending upon the organization and role to which they are assigned.
