Join Macquarie Asset Management in our Philadelphia Headquarters as a Derivative Operations Analyst in our US Transaction Management Group. The US Transaction Management group mitigates operational risk associated with trade settlement and collateral management activities by ensuring timely and efficient settlement of the firm's trades. You will be responsible for facilitating the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions across domestic and international markets, including collateral management.
For success in the role, you will be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative and prioritize effectively. You will have an aptitude for working with new and varied systems.
The responsibilities will include identifying trade discrepancies and mitigate the risks related to the trade and collateral management life cycle. You will manage complex reconciliation, operational and settlement issues and ensure timely trade settlement for high profile clients, whilst managing multiple high-profile counterparty, client and custodial relationships. We ll also be relying on you to monitor current industry/regulatory trends and communicate those findings to senior stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you ll have;
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance preferred
5+ years of work experience with strong Buy Side Trade Lifecycle
BlackRock Aladdin systems knowledge preferred
DTCC Omgeo CTM, ALERT, SWIFT experience preferred
Strong product knowledge (Equities, Futures, FX, Fixed Income, Options, OTCs, Swaps, etc.)
Knowledge of clearing and regulatory requirements for OTC products
Strong knowledge of settlement processes for both US and non-US markets
Advanced Excel skills, SQL skills preferred
In depth understanding of various systems (Order Management, Post-Trade Processing, & Accounting)
