Role: Data Analytics Lead Salary: £60-75k Working Style: Hybrid INTERVIEWING NOW - APPLY TODAY! Specialising in the insurance sector, my client uses advanced technology and data insight services to better monetise data in insurance mobility businesses. They are now looking for Data Analytics Team Lead to join their growing team. This will be a hybrid role where you will be required to be onsite at least 8 days a month (2 days a week). Please see an overview of the requirements and responsibilities below. Duties and Responsibilities include: Managing day to day activities and resources within the team to ensure smooth running of the Data Analytics team, prompt delivery of reports. Managing the creation and production of business and internal level reports for operational monitoring and data quality purposes. Responsible for the development of reports and the key contact for other teams when developing cross-team projects and products. Building suitable reports and selection of suitable tools/technologies to be able to provide data analytics from our data warehouse and other data locations, e.g. S3. Proactively making recommendations for new initiatives. Defining the roadmap, in collaboration with stakeholders, for the analytics function. As a Data Analyst within this team, you'll be working mainly with the following: SQL, Redshift, Tableau. Supporting the business by providing relevant data insights through BI/MIs, data mining or other analytical activities. Assist with ad-hoc data queries and reports across wider products. Requirements for this position: Technical Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc. Advanced practitioner of SQL Strong experience in Python Experience in AWS Cloud Services Experience creating business-level reports, often graphical Good Excel skills (inc. pivot tables) Experience with modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, Testing, Version Control ) Personal Skills Strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to operate in a team with mixed disciplines Able to communicate clearly at all levels of the business Initiative to drive projects to fruition and demonstrate ability to innovate within the project framework Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail Management experience or aptitude Postgraduate qualifications in STEM subject or similar such as MSc/PhD Experience with Scrum and AGILE based Methodologies What if you're a partial fit?
