Our financial services client has a fantastic opportunity to join their sales team as a Business Development Manager, covering London and the South of England. This role will be to proactively develop and increase introduced mortgage business. Key duties will include: To achieve agreed business volume, business mix, depending on organisations needs To develop, regularly review and update a business plan and broker contact strategy, including face to face contact, for your defined geographic area. The business plan and contact strategy should be developed in conjunction with the intermediary telephone business development managers and other relevant internal stake holders Attend industry events, including conferences, exhibitions and sales meetings as necessary To maintain full and accurate records of all your activity in your defined geographic area To deliver service standards in line with department plan and standards To drive improvement by continually obtaining feedback on our end to end intermediary mortgage offering To develop and maintain an understanding of what is happening in the wider intermediary mortgage market, including with key intermediary mortgage firms and distributors, products, service, technology and regulation To provide market intelligence to appropriate internal stake holders identify opportunities for marketing campaigns To seek out tactical opportunities to deliver value through market opportunities in product, service and support, feeding the information into the appropriate internal stake holders The successful candidate will possess: Previous business development management experience within mortgages Have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle
