AVP Finance

One of the largest Singaporean-headquartered banks, seeks a AVP/Finance for the NYC office. This role is with the bank's real estate holdings' division and work very closely with HQ in Singapore. The major responsibilites are as follows:

Day to day financial operations including journal postings and payments

Monthly financial and bank reconciliations

Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.

Capitalisation of assets

Budgeting and forecasting of expenses.

Regular liaisons with Head Office in Singapore

• To Support Group with the lease out transactions which will include lease renewal negotiation with our tenants and to leverage on our real estate service provider to secure new tenants.
• Assist in tenancy related matters such as tracking rent payments, tenancy disputes, deposit refunds, updating of lease details into the Banks lease management database etc.
• To support Group with inputs on financial analysis/due diligence in terms of tenancy negotiation.

Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigne

Degree from any recognised University or recognised establishment (Business, Finance or Accounting will be beneficial).

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience

Understanding of accounting principles, income statement and statement of financial positions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Self-driven, resourceful, collaborative with excellent problem solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Relevant experience in the financial services industry and experience in SAP will be advantageous.
