As part of the Enablement Services - Foundations team, the selected candidate will be responsible for shaping data driven decisions across operational and application development teams by way of analyzing Universal Even Layer (UEL) data for reporting and visualizations. Empower enterprise support and development teams have invested in the latest log and event aggregation technologies in order to aggregate application and infrastructure metrics

What you will do:
  • Visualize cloud platform and application metrics (such as, cost, owner, function, various utilization metrics, and an assortment of additional relevant information) to reduce cost, gain efficiency, and proactively project various infrastructure requirements.
  • Ability to work with datasets, data transformation and normalization, statistical analysis, reporting and visualizations
  • Implement technical standards and conventions across analytics platforms and tools;
  • Provide long-term direction relating to reporting, visualization technologies, and related strategies;
  • Develop, automate, manage and administer reporting and visualization components using DevOps and cloud oriented approaches within physical and Cloud-based infrastructures;
  • Collaborate with platform owners to identify and standardize reporting requirements, implement automated solutions and create associated documentation;
  • Provide an escalation point for discussion of approach, design and implementation of analytics, monitoring, alerting and reporting;
  • Participate in on-call rotations (FTE only).

What you will bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (science oriented, Statistics, Math, Information Systems) or equivalent applicable experience;
  • Experience in a context where % of the workday includes writing production code;
  • Proven experience writing operationalized production code (Python, PERL, Ruby, Java, C or other related programming language common to analytics oriented pipelines and statistical analysis);
  • Strong grasp of automation, error handling, and providing visibility into automated processes;
  • Expertise in two or more of the following areas;
    • Computer Science
    • Programming
    • Data Analytics
    • Graphing and Visualizations
    • Business Processes
  • Expertise in navigating Windows and Linux Operating Systems;
  • Understanding of multi-tier web application architectures;
  • Demonstrated ability to translate and establish project requirement from technical and non-technical information;
  • Ability to write documentation and share knowledge with OnShore/OffShore teammates;
  • Proven customer focus, with a track record of proactive engagement;
  • Ability to follow corporate process and standard, such as, change control;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
