Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within Data Privacy? This is a fantastic opportunity to join SSCL as a Data Privacy Administrator. You will manage the day-to-day administration of a small, friendly team ensuring appropriate governance to compliance arrangements are in place. The role will help to ensure that SSCL complies with Data Protection Legislation providing assurances to SSCL working in collaboration with the wider SSCL organisation, Sopra Steria and Clients that we are protecting the personal data SSCL process every day. We re looking for someone who will promote positivity, openness, and commitment to achieving Data Protection Compliance. If you have a can do attitude, a keen interest in working in a Data Privacy environment and you re great at developing good working relationships, this is the perfect role for you! This a variable hybrid role with the adhoc requirement to be in the office. What you will be doing: Managing a triage of functional mailboxes, the allocation of tasks to appropriate team members and supporting stakeholders to complete Data Protection documents. Supporting the Privacy Managers to develop the SSCL Data Protection documentation and Record Library as well as preparing internal and external reporting. Taking the responsibility thereafter to ensure reviews take place on all documentation to defined timescales. Timely administration of Data Protection Privacy by Design activities, such as Data Protection Impact Assessments. Completing activities to respond to Data Subject Requests ensuring these are completed accurately and within the specified timeframe. Collating monthly and quarterly MI dashboard and maintaining internal communication and intranet information. What you ll bring: The ability to prioritise and work on own initiative with minimal supervision. Excellent organisational and planning skills as well as accurate record keeping and attention to detail. Being able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Being an analytical thinker - Able to tackle issues in a logical, step-by-step way. Break problems down into component parts and consider issues from a range of different angles. Process a volume of information and data to reach a sound understanding of the issues at hand. It would be great if you had: Understanding of the Data Protection Principles Good Office skills (Word, excel and power point).
